Creating Miracles via our blogs.

It is true that as individuals we can impact the world in a big way. For me the best legacy would to leave this world having impacted thousands or millions of people in a positive way.
As a Christian I know that with the power of the Holy Spirit I can move mountains. It is not I but through me that God can work miracles in today’s world.
So far my devotion has helped others and I look forward to the day I can achieve much for my beautiful Father in heaven.
I was approached today by a blogger who calls himself Peter and has created a new blog aimed at peace.
I was the 53rd person he approached and yet the first to respond to his lovely thoughts on united reflection on peace.
As a Christian I felt compelled to add my thoughts and so posted his first response, which is the comment at the end of this post.
Please read his idea today and think about how we can all impact the world in a positive way.
If you have any other similar ideas I believe both Peter and myself would love to hear it.
I have been writing a bit on this subject of late largely in my own private journal but some shared here also. Beautiful ideas like Peter’s and the Pay it forward movement are a good example of the power behind a loving thought. Imagine what we could achieve if we all thought of something and put it into practice.

What if the impossible became possible?

What If...on December 30th, 2006, starting at 8 p.m., people around the world spent two minutes reflecting upon the idea of Peace and ones own humble place in time? LINK

This was my comment on Peter’s blog:
What if in these two minutes all these people spent a moment in earnest prayer?
We would be guaranteed to see incredible miracles and it would change the world, as we know it. Many do not know the power or united love and prayer, which is unfortunate. I have witnessed it recently and an overwhelmed by the possibilities through prayer and worship.
Dear, dear Peter,
The saddest thing is that I am the 53rd blogger you have contacted in regard to your lovely idea and I am only the first to respond. I will post on my blog today in response to your thoughts as the idea has more power in it than many realise and I will pray the response will be something so significant that it will glorify God and truly impact the world.
God Bless
Finally my question to you:
WILL YOU BE PRAYING FOR PEACE ON THE 30TH DECEMBER 2006 AT 8PM U.S TIME
?????????

Thank you for being the very first person to support this Blogging campaign.

As a veteran of Somalia, Afghanistan and Iraq...over these last few months...I've wondered to myself, "Is it possible to reduce the amount of hatred and violence in today's world?"

Last week, before going to sleep, I began asking myself a lot of WHAT IF questions.

The central idea behind my idea is neither anti-war or pro-religion.

Basically, unless someone and everyone starts talking about Peace...

Even if it's just for two short minutes...

It's possible that unstoppable firestorm of burning hatred may one day sweep its way across our entire planet.

Instead of pointing out those differences which separate mankind...
It's my hope that the humanity within all of us will somehow prevail...

Even if it's JUST FOR TWO SHORT MINUTES...

Stay Gold and Thank You!
